| Helen in UGANDA In May 2006, I had the pleasure to work with a team of 11 Christian volunteers, and go to one of the neediest parts of the world. The picture below was taken in a mountain village in Mbale not far from the Kenyan border. We worked closely with the church there helping a people who live without running water, electricity and have one meal a day. AIDS is a major problem and has left many children as orphans. Considering the hardship of everyday life, we met with people who had a great heart. This experience has left me with a desire to go back one day. Truly Africa is a place that leaves its mark! I am honored and privileged to be one of the thousands who over the centuries have fulfilled the words of Jesus......"Go into the whole world and make disciples of all nations".
